This lovely doe is Athena. She is a beautiful dark buckskin
with great mammary potential. Athena has really blossomed as a mature doe.
She is very long, deep bodied, standing on excellent feet and legs.
Athena's first freshening udder is very nice with wonderful texture. Her milk production
is a little on the low side, but with her genetics I am not surprised (these does tend to blossom after 2 or more freshenings).
I would like to see her teats a little more plumb, but overall a very nice doe.
Her personality is horrible and I have to chase her to get her on the milk stand, but she is a
lovely doe with a bright future.
UPDATE: We have decided to sell Athena as a brood doe. She has a very nice
pedigree, however, she is not the friendliest goat. She might do better in a smaller herd.
