Lightweight, portable milk stanchions

These portable goat stanchions are made of 1 1/2" PVC pipe and are very lightweight (approx. 50 lbs.), strong and durable.  They can break down for easy transport and are great for shows or as a second stand for hoof trimming, grooming, milking, etc.

Standard Measurements:
From floor to base = approx. 14-15 inches (NEW)
From base to top of stanchion = approx. 38 inches
Base: 22" x 42" (can be adjusted to your specifications)

Each unit is custom built and can be adjusted to meet your needs.  The standard stand is built for smaller breeds like Pygmies and Nigerians, but can also be used for standard sized goats.  Give me your specifications and I can customize a stand just for you (additional charges may apply).

The legs on this unit can either be permanently attached or detached with locking pins.  If I have to ship your unit, I can only ship it with detached legs so as to keep the shipping costs to a minimum.

These goat stands are very sturdy and can support 200+ lbs.  I stand on mine (I weigh about 190 lbs.) while I clip hooves.

The standard sized single stanchion is priced at $150.  Standard feed bucket is an additional $10.00.  Shipping and handling charges are extra.  (Shipping and handling along the eastern coast runs around $20-40 and coast to coast around $45-50.)

If you have any questions or would like to place an order please email me at kidnacres@msn.com.

I'm going to put up some better pictures soon.  But you can see from the top picture a complete stand with a goat in it.

The head restraint bar is held in place with a sturdy rubber bungy chord, which works very well.

The locking pins can be removed
so that stanchion can be broken down
into two pieces for easy transport.
They also add additional stability to the
top frame while milking or grooming.

The restraining bar can also
be removed if necessary.
